Sign up now, and you could earn $30 right away if you use my affiliate link. Plus you’ll earn 1-10% cash back if you shop online at stores like Hobby Lobby, Michael’s, JoAnn’s..and lots more.
Now, here are my favorite products to buy for the beginner painter:
1) Sponge Pouncers
These sponge pouncers from my shop are perfect for adding polka dots on the background of your door hangers! I find myself reaching for these often. They come in a pack of twenty pouncers and have a variety of sizes.
2) Graphite Paper
If you’re a beginner painter, graphite paper can give you the confidence you need to paint. I often trace templates directly onto wood using graphite paper. Here’s how I use it for help with hand lettering and stencils. You can find graphite paper here in my Amazon shop.
3) Assorted Brush Set
One thing is for sure when you’re painting, you can never have too many paint brushes. This assorted designer brush set from Decoart features a variety of brushes to help start your collection. There are a variety of sizes and brush types for every need!
4) 12 Pack of Acrylic Paint
If you’ve been following me for a while, you know how much I love DecoArt paints. My collection has really grown over the years and I have even partnered with DecoArt to create some paint packs just for you. There is a Holiday Paint Pack, Autumn Paint Pack, and a Rainbow Paint Pack. They all feature common colors that I use for my projects!
6) Artistro Paint Markers
Of course I have to add my favorite paint pens to this Gift Guide for a Beginner Painter! I use these Artistro Paint Markers almost every time I paint. You can also save ten percent on their entire catalogue on Amazon with the code TAMARABEN10.
7) Skil Mouse Sander
8) Skil Jigsaw
As I create this gift guide for beginner painters, I can’t recommend the Skil Jigsaw enough. I reach for this often as I cut my own blanks. Don’t be intimidated by cutting out your own door hangers! You can find it here at Walmart for a great price.
9) Door Hanger Video Tutorial Set
If you’re a beginner painter, I have some great tutorials in my shop for you! You’ll get all the info and step-by-step directions you need to create a cute door hanger like these. A tutorial would be a great gift basket or stocking stuffer addition! Check out all of my tutorials here in my shop!
10) Painter's Clubhouse Membership
I might’ve saved my favorite gift idea for last – a year membership to my Painter’s Clubhouse! It’s the gift that keeps on giving, because with a painter’s clubhouse membership you’ll have access to exclusive tutorials, a community of women to inspire and encourage you, and coupon codes to save you money every time you need more blanks and templates.
