Painter’s Clubhouse Recap – April 2022

We just wrapped up our April calendar in Painter’s Clubhouse and it was such a fun month. We celebrated our 4th birthday and painted some really great designs. Here's a little sneak peak of what we did!

What is Painter's Clubhouse?

We just wrapped up our April calendar in Painter’s Clubhouse and it was such a fun month! Painter’s Clubhouse is an online membership I offer that is designed to help people grow from a beginner painter to a confident artist. I teach exclusive techniques and tutorials and invite in other talented guest artists as well. If you’d really like to dive into what Painter’s Clubhouse is, I encourage you to check out my blog post, What is Painter’s Clubhouse? In the meantime, let’s dive right in to a recap of what we did last month in the Painter’s Clubhouse!

Welcome in Bloom Door Hanger

Sandy McQurter from Quilted Treasures & More was a guest artist in the Painter’s Clubhouse for April. She painted a beautiful “Welcome in Bloom” door hanger live with her PC family. It turned out beautifully! See some of the completed Welcome in Bloom door hangers that our PC artists recreated below after watching Sandy’s video!

Whimsical Frame Chalkboard Sign

You’ve probably seen this finished product behind me in my Facebook Live videos. This whimsical frame sign is so much fun because I made it a chalkboard sign that I can hang in my craft room and change out what it says. I had so much fun painting it with my PC sisters!

Retro Swimsuit Door Hanger Remix

Recently in the Painter’s Clubhouse I’ve been taking door hangers that I’ve painted before or that are supposed to be painted a certain way and remixing them. This month I remixed this retro swimsuit door hanger and painted it with neon and leopard print patterns and let me just say, I loved it! What I really enjoy though is seeing how members take this exact door hanger and remix it for themselves, check that out below!

Happy Birthday Painter’s Clubhouse!!

We had so much fun celebrating the Painter’s Clubhouse turning 4! I hosted a Zoom meeting for our members and we celebrated with a party and giveaways. The theme was silly and creative glasses, and members were to grab and decorate a pair of glasses they had lying around. It was so much fun and I had a blast seeing everyone’s creative side with their festive and fun eyewear!
