Painter’s Clubhouse Recap – April 2023

Hey guys, I am so excited to give you a look at what we did in Painter’s Clubhouse in April and to give our Clubhouse Members a look at what’s to come in May. Let’s dive right in!

Happy Birthday Painter's Clubhouse

We celebrated FIVE years of the Painter’s Clubhouse in April and it was so much fun! We had a Zoom call together with everyone where we painted, played a game, and celebrated. Painter’s Clubhouse is such a blessing to not only the PC Sisters, but me as well! I learn so much from members and enjoy painting and learning right alongside them. I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for our Painter’s Clubhouse membership!

This door hanger might seem intimidating at first due to all the details. However, I broke it down step by step and we painted it together. So many members were thrilled with how well it turned out! I left the banner blank on this door hanger because I wanted to encourage members to customize this design for themselves, but how fun would it be to customize with a last name or even “The Coop?”

Composition Notebook with Guest Artist

Lauren Martin was our guest artist in the Painter’s Clubhouse last month. She taught us a technique for dabbing paint onto the door hanger to give the effect of the composition notebook. It’s such a great gift idea for teachers to hang in their classroom. This was also a special time in the Painter’s Clubhouse because we actually did a painting “duet.” Lauren and I got on and painted together at the same time and were just able to paint and chat together and with members in the comments. It was so much fun, we’ll definitely have to do more of those in the future.

Picnic Basket REMIX

The remix designs are so much fun for me to paint every month in the Painter’s Clubhouse. This is where we take an older design and remix it by painting it in a different way. The one on the left is the picnic basket I painted before and the one I’m holding is the one i recently painted. I love how it turned out!

See What Our Members are Painting

There are so many talented PC Sisters that are part of our Painter’s Clubhouse membership and I just have to show off some of their beautiful work. One of the really great things about the Painter’s Clubhouse is the community that it provides. With so many talented artists, you can find inspiration and encouragement from PC Sisters in the group!

Looking Ahead to May

Wondering what designs are coming up in the Painter’s Clubhouse this month? Well let me show you! We’re gearing up for Summer with these patriotic and sunshine themed door hangers. We are also featuring a guest artist, Cindy from Timber Crafts. I can’t wait to paint with members this month and dive into these new designs together!

Come Join Us in the Painter's Clubhouse!

Are you wanting to join and get access to these new designs for May? You can join this amazing community by signing up to join the Painter’s Clubhouse and becoming a PC Sister for yourself right now! This membership is solely focused on building community with fellow artists and growing your skills, we’d love to have you join us and can’t wait to see you there!
