Painter’s Clubhouse Recap – February 2023

Another really fun month together in the Painter's Clubhouse! Let's check in to see what all we did together in February. We'd love to have you join us!

We've Been Dreaming of Spring in Painter's Clubhouse

February was a great painting-filled month in the Painter’s Clubhouse! There were three tutorials featuring a variety of designs perfect for Easter. I love inviting talented guests in to teach tutorials in my membership and in February, we had Sarah Cummings of The Red Headed Camel paint with us. I love her style! Let’s dive right into a recap of what we’ve been doing.

Easter Wagon REMIX

Painting door hanger remixes in the Painter’s Clubhouse has been so much fun! Every month we have one tutorial called a “REMIX.” This tutorial features an older door hanger template from The Painter’s Clubhouse that we take and revamp into something new! It’s been such a fun way to look at a door hanger template in a different light! I love how this Easter Wagon turned out, the different patterns on the eggs mean that the customization possibilities for this fun design really are endless!

So Hoppy to See You

I absolutely love when we get to invite guest artists into the Painter’s Clubhouse to paint a door hanger or to teach us a new technique! I have been painting door hangers since 2016 and I still learn something from the guests every time they pop in. This month was so much fun, because I got to sit down with Sarah Cummings of The Red Headed Camel and we were able to chat and paint together in the Painter’s Clubhouse. We painted the same design, but we both added our own twist! I love how they both turned out! Don’t these colors just scream “Spring”?

Happy St. Patty's Day!

Of course, we had to do something fun for St. Patrick’s Day coming up! This glittery rainbow and leprechaun was so much fun to paint with my PC Sisters! The glitter on the rainbow was my favorite part. I’ve loved seeing how the ladies in Painter’s Clubhouse are painting for St. Patrick’s Day!

I want to show off some projects that our Painter’s Clubhouse members have painted recently! Our Painter’s Clubhouse membership is filled with a lot of talent and I love seeing that play out. It’s such a joy to watch our members’ skills and confidence grow. I learn so much from them!
