Resources for the Beginner Painter

I know there are lots of options for you as a beginner painter and I am so excited to take part in this journey with you. When it comes to starting a new hobby, sometimes the hardest part can be just getting started.

If you’re a beginner painter who is interested in ways to grow your skills, you don’t have to do it alone! I have a variety of courses and guided lessons to help you get started. I even have some free resources that are available to you. Let’s chat about some of my resources and find which ones are right for you!

Wood Letter Workshop

If you’re ready to learn three techniques that can be used on any project, try out my Wood Letter Workshop! In this workshop, I will walk you through step-by-step how to paint a fun pattern on a wooden letter that you can find at your local craft store. If you’re just getting started painting door hangers or you haven’t painted your first one yet, I recommend taking advantage of my Free Library! The Free Template Library features several different tutorials where you can download a free template and watch a tutorial to recreate your own door hanger. You would need to cut your own door hanger or purchase the blank from my shop, but this is a great option for a painter that’s wanting to try out door hanger painting!
